Census Publishing Information: 1790-2010
This page serves to inform the patron about the data published by the U.S. Bureau of the Census since 1790.
The census information listed below includes statistical data on the national, state, and local level that the Federal government has made available to the public via the Federal depository system. These holdings do not contain individual names of people that lived in the area.
For genealogical information, you will need to go to the Pacific/Alaska Regional Office of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in Seattle. The 1930 Census information database is now available via the NARA--Seattle website. Do your preliminary research online before making the trip to Seattle. You can also visit a number of libraries around the state that have census microfilm holdings in their collection.
