Department of Homeland Security

Last Updated: March 19, 2007

NOTE: This page was created to provide links to The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a reference service to our patrons. This is not the official website for DHS. DHS has now created its own official website.

DHS' phone number can be found on the directory listing from the U.S. Government Manual found at the top of the page under the heading. Contact the DHS website for any inquiries you may have.

Take a look at H.R. 5005 which became Public Law 107-296 on November 25, 2002. The document will give you detailed information on the organization for the Department of Homeland Security.

In brackets, you will notice the Superintendent of Documents (SuDocs)call number stem for the agency before its transfer to DHS. This is done for the benefit of Federal documents depository librarians who need to know where the changes are occurring.
